South Holland

The Netherlands, Explore the province of Limburg and Meuse River

Holiday Overview

Discover the history of Limburg the southernmost Dutch province sandwiched between Belgium and Germany with historical towns, remarkable villages, some castles and gardens along the route, although the Meuse flows through the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium are only a stone’s throw away, the journey starts in Maastricht, the capital of the province of Limburg, famous for its lively centre and vibrant hospitality.

Terrain: Although the Netherlands is flat it can be windy (known as a Dutch Hill) so if you are thinking of bringing your normal bike because it is flat, and you have an E-bike we strongly recommend you bring your E-bike there will be no opportunity to hire an E-bike from the ship (these now need to be booked in advance as the ship no longer carries spare bikes).

Tandems and Electric bikes with removable batteries welcome.

If you would like to book an E-bike, please put hire and your height in the E-bike space on the booking form.
