Explore the heart of the Loire, famous for its wine, this central part of the Loire river was added to the UNESCO list of world heritage sites in December 2006 it was chosen for its exceptional cultural landscape of great beauty, historic cities and villages and great architectural monuments, the area is punctuated by prestigious Chateaux, Abbeys, vineyards, forests, and troglodyte dwellings carved out of the soft Tufa rock.

Visits include the famous Chinon Chateau Breze chateau (known as a chateau on a chateau) the Earth Spiral a fascinating sculpture that continues underground into a cave carved out of Tufa, and Fontevraud Abbey. On the last day we will taste the wine of the area. You will cycle through vineyards, forests, old villages, and part of the Loire a Velo cycle route bordering the Loire, on the last day we will taste the wine of the area.
